Voix fue diseñado por el proyecto de segundo curso, La Ricarda. Un proyecto que proponía un diseño de mobiliario que se pudiera integrar fácilmente dentro de la casa y se adecua a las necesidades de las acciones realizadas en ese espacio.
Voix emerges from the image of the interior garden of the house, the shape of the reeds and we wanted to integrate the speaker into that atmosphere. Music was a way of life for the family that lived in La Ricarda, therefore, it was a point we wanted to improve.
Voix surge a partir de la imagen del jardín interior de la casa, la forma de las cañas y queríamos conseguir integrar el altavoz en aquella atmósfera. La música era una forma de vida para la familia que habitaba en La Ricarda por tanto, era un punto a mejorar.
Voix was designed for the second course project, La Ricarda. A project that proposed a furniture design that could be easily integrated into the house and adapted to the needs of the actions carried out in that space.
Voix es un altavoz de pie, está compuesto por un eje vertical de madera con un pie de aluminio de forma cilíndrica y tres altavoces cilíndricos que se introducen dentro de este eje, uno de estos altavoces es el principal, que contiene los botones para controlar la música, y los otros dos lo complementan para distribuir el sonido.
Voix is a standing loudspeaker, consisting of a vertical wooden shaft with a cylindrical aluminum base and three cylindrical speakers that are inserted within this axis, one of these loudspeakers is the main one, which contains the buttons to control the music, and the other speakers complement it to distribute the sound.
Su ligereza ayuda a poder desplazar el altavoz sin problema donde sea necesario, en conjunto o individualmente, ya que los tres módulos se pueden extraer del eje y transportar o distribuir donde se considere más adecuado. El altavoz es inalámbrico, por tanto, consta de una batería recargable con una duración de 12h, cuando se acaba la batería se carga en una placa de inducción.
Its lightness is an advantage when moving the speaker around as a whole or as separate, individual pieces, since the three modules can be removed from the axle and transported or distributed where it is considered the most appropriate. The speaker is wireless, therefore, it uses a rechargeable battery which lasts up to 12 hours, whenever it’s desired to charged the speaker, it shall be placed onto an induction plate.
